The challenge

Aria was building her career as an artist but didn’t yet have a dedicated website or a strong online presence of her own. Her digital world was spread across different platforms, making it harder for new listeners, promoters and potential collaborators to discover her work and get a clear sense of who she was as an artist.

The challenge was to create her first website while establishing a distinctive visual identity, improving her visibility through search and connecting her existing social and live music activity.

The thinking

The website needed to feel like an extension of Aria as an artist, rather than simply another place to find her music.

I developed the branding and visual direction alongside the site, creating a clear and recognisable identity that could work across her digital presence. The structure was designed around the things that matter most to an emerging artist: music, story, upcoming shows and ways for people to discover and follow her.

SEO was also considered from the outset, giving Aria a stronger foundation for being discovered through Google as her profile and body of work grew.

The work

I developed Aria’s branding, designed and built her first website in Squarespace, and wrote the website copy.

I also integrated Google and Bandsintown, bringing her live dates directly into the site and making it easier for visitors to discover upcoming performances. Social integration helped connect the website with the wider ecosystem around her music and keep her online presence active.

The result

Aria now has a distinctive digital home that brings her music, story, identity and live activity together in one place.

More than simply giving her a website, the project established a foundation for her online presence that could grow alongside her career, while making it easier for new audiences to discover her work and keep up with what she’s doing.
